Digital infrastructure.Built for East Africa.

Secure, resilient foundations for cloud, connectivity and AI workloads — built in Uganda for the region's digital future.

Today: groundworks in progress in Uganda

Design priorities

AI-ready infrastructure

Designed from the outset for high-density, accelerated compute.

Resilience by design

Redundancy across power, cooling and network, engineered in from day one.

Open interconnection

Carrier-neutral by principle — open to every network and cloud.

Responsible energy strategy

Planned around Uganda's renewable power and efficient cooling.

Infrastructure

Infrastructure forwhat comes next.

We're building more than a data centre — we're building a foundation for innovation, opportunity and a digitally connected East Africa.

Infrastructure & engineering

Engineered to be depended on.

The principles guiding every engineering decision — from the first drawing to commissioning.

  • Power

A resilient supply strategy with backup and conditioning layers, so critical loads stay protected through grid events and maintenance.

  • Cooling

Designed for today's enterprise racks and tomorrow's high-density AI hardware, with efficiency treated as a design requirement.

  • Connectivity

Carrier-neutral, with diverse fibre entry paths so customers choose their networks and avoid single points of failure.

  • Redundancy

Redundant paths across power, cooling and network, so a single component failure doesn't become an outage.

  • Physical security

Layered from perimeter to rack — controlled access, continuous monitoring and audit trails, to international best practice.

Detailed specifications will be published as engineering design is finalised.

Our engineering approach

Development progress

From groundworks to operational readiness.

We report progress only when it's real. Here is where the project stands today, and what comes next.

  1. Phase 01

    Planning

    Complete

Vision, project planning and the commitment to build in Uganda.

  2. Phase 02

    Groundworks

    In progress

Site development underway — the physical foundations of the facility.

  3. 03

    Phase 03

    Construction

    Upcoming

Building the structure and core of the facility.

  4. 04

    Phase 04

    Systems integration

    Upcoming

Installing and integrating power, cooling, network and security systems.

  5. 05

    Phase 05

    Operational readiness

    Upcoming

Testing, commissioning and opening to the first customers.

Where we are today

Groundworks are underway on site in Uganda. Construction, systems integration and commissioning follow; dates will be announced as each milestone is confirmed. No services are operational yet.

Sustainability

Efficiency designed in, not claimed after.

East Africa's digital future shouldn't cost the Earth. Our energy, cooling and efficiency choices are made at the design stage — and will be measured once we're operational.

Our sustainability approach

Strategy

Energy strategy

Uganda's electricity comes largely from hydropower. We plan to source power that makes the most of that renewable mix, and to plan for additional clean supply as the facility grows.

Approach

Cooling approach

Cooling chosen for Uganda's climate and for the heat of high-density hardware — favouring approaches that limit both energy and water consumption.

Goal

Efficiency goals

Efficiency measured, not asserted: targets set against recognised metrics such as power usage effectiveness (PUE) and water usage effectiveness (WUE), reported once operational.
